Fire Rated System

MB-78EI

The MB-78EI fire partition system is designed for creating internal or external fire-resistant walls and single- or double-leaf doors, with fire resistance ratings of EI 15, EI 30, EI 45, or EI 60, as per the PN-EN 13501-2+A1:2016 standard. It is largely compatible with ALUPROF S.A.'s standard window and door systems, including the MB-45, MB-60, and MB-70, sharing many components, details, hardware, and manufacturing processes.

The system is built using thermally-insulated aluminium profiles with a construction depth of 78 mm. These profiles feature a low overall heat transfer coefficient (Uf), partly due to the use of specialized 34 mm thermal breaks. The system can accommodate various types of fire-resistant glass panels, with thicknesses ranging from 6 to 65 mm. It also supports smoke-proof structures in several versions. Testing at the Building Technology Institute in Warsaw demonstrated that this system provides excellent acoustic insulation, up to 40 dB.
